HOURS
REQUIRED: 20-40 hours per week.
COMPENSATION:
Housing will be provided for qualified applicants. The
Fieldhouse will provide stipend or other meal arrangements
during extended work periods. Internships are unpaid;
however, opportunites for paid shift management positions
and/or control desk staff support exist. College credit
is available.

WHAT

CRITERIA/QUALIFICATIONS:
Junior/Senior or graduate-level students or recent college
graduates with a sports managerment or related major.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Creative
and outgoing self-starter with positive attitude. Well
organized and highly dependable with strong computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:
1. General office duties including correspondence, data
entry, answering phones, copying, filing, faxing, maintaining
mailing lists and distributing promotional material.
2. Athletic Administration:
Gain hands-on experience in running the day to day operations
of a sports complex.
3. League Development: Create,
market and administer one or more volleyball, floor hockey
or basketball leagues.
4. Sports Marketing: Market,
promote and sell Fieldhouse programs to special groups
including colleges, schools, churches, clubs, organizations,
corporations, etc.
5. Event Planning: Plan and
execute a special event such as an athletic tournament
or promotion.
