POWER SKATING & CONDITIONING CAMP

Bring your workbooks for this one. This is an up-tempo camp designed for the stronger players in both house and open leagues. The school is run at an intense pace and players will be expected to carry out more complicated drills at higher speeds. All the drills are designed with game-like situations in mind. While there is plenty of individual instruction throughout the camp, there is not much time wasted with the whole group in explaining the basics. This is a great workout for all players looking to gain that final edge against their competition.

HOCKEY SKILLS AND DRILLS CAMP

The fundamentals of skating, stick handling, shooting and passing are taught in this camp at faster pace than in the Fundamentals camp. Besides the basics, participants will gain tips on getting into a better scoring position, supporting the puck, creating chances, using their body, and playing in control. A strong emphasis will still be on skating, which is by far the most important aspect of the game for a younger player to concentrate on.

FUNDAMENTALS OF HOCKEY CAMP

Back to the basics in this camp; without learning the proper way to carry out the basic fundamentals of stick handling, skating, shooting, and passing any hockey player will struggle to compete. This camp will focus on forwards and backwards skating including stopovers, crossovers, and pivots. Carrying the puck for speed and stick handling in traffic will also be stressed along with passing and shooting. Great for any player that has less than 2-3 years experience and especially for those who have not been in a Fieldhouse hockey camp before.

ROLLER HOCKEY GOALIE CAMP

Instructed by some of the finest goalies in the area this camp is ideal for goalies of any age and talent level. Young goaltenders just starting out or that have a few years experience can always benefit from learning the basics of this position. In this camp goalies will learn the proper techniques used in covering angles, stacking the pads, butterfly position, side-to-side movements, and playing the puck. Goalies will face hundreds of shots in two days and will learn drills to help them work on their own game.
